the awaited kedah post. by mr mok
its was boring.
after a mind torturing 10hr bus ride from singapore,
we finally made it. kedah. the land of ?...
thats right.. nothing.
first day:
we were accomadated at Cinta Sayang Golf & Country Club
nice huh.. looks can be very deceiving though.. greated by dust due to construction work that was to revamp the place to look like the website. nice..
checked out the place.. there was nothing to do.. all we had was the convenience store.. however, the owner of the store opens and closes the store whenever he feels like it. checking it out every 20mins was probably the smartest thing to do..
food outside of the country club was to die for..
second day:
there was a pool table. it was located at the bar cum ktv lounge which plays cinemax and not karaoke hits. there was a table tennis thingy but in order to play, you have to bring along your own bat. wtf. yes. wtf. the only thing that kept us alive was meal times as well as travel & living from discovery channel. soundcheck was done twice. i dun really get that. had lunch late.
everybody got sick. flu, rabies, liver discharge, you name it.
performance was up in a few hrs time.. everybody panicked. *gasp*
ok the crowd there was better than those in sg alright. was kinda taken aback..
they are a lil late though.. dr dre - next episode, wu-tang - 36 chambers are hot stuff over there.. erm.. yeah.. the organizers did alright. so kudos to them..
after the show, no after party, no hotel lobby. dun wanna be messing ard here guys..
these guys will wallop your sorry arse..
the nearest 7-11 is about 5km away. we had nothing really.. after the show was some tuna and bread and orange juice (its abt 1am btw) and the poolside and straight chilling and then mosquitos, so back to the room we went.
third day:
packed our bags we are ready to go. you know the drill.
