nitin was great during womad.. he didnt bring nadia though.. but it was kewl.. womad was grrrrrreat..

didnt do much yesterday.. met up with frens.. there was a gig at taka.. yan performed.. its been ages since i last saw him.. he cut his hair but didnt.. he looks the same.. standard.. yeah.. went home afterwards.. boss called during my trip back.. asked me to work today.. from 6 - 930.. guess i'll be doin that.. i have no plans today anyway..

term test is finally over.. there were 2 papers that i think i wont do so well.. but screw that.. its over and done with.. term break is = no break btw.. i still have to go to sch.. projects and shiet.. i'm tired.. i think i'm goin to take a nap..

Nitin Sawhney

so womad-ness was here..i was excited to experience cool world music, its atmosphere and especially the man, nitin sawhney

met mok and waited for a bloody hour for the gang at the entrance..there were loads of stalls ard selling accessories, clothes, food and more..me n gf got seperated from the rest after busy looking at some stuffs and later settled at a spot at the main stage area where afrocelts which made of world musicians (UK / Senegal / Ireland / India) were playing at tht time..people were seen tapping their legs, clapping and swaying to the sounds and eventually dance near the front stage..nitin sawhney was up next at 11..the brilliant musician from Britain played the good live sounds with his entourage of performers from his Beyond Skin, Prophesy and Human albums for abt an hr and later did 2 encores for the hyper and supportive crowds..it was simply madness although i wished he did his Nadia track to end it all..anyways sawhney will b spinning a 2hr set tomorrow at midnight so dont miss this one if u already did..womad will end this sunday 31st august 2003

who can remember this fantastic table soccer game? i was clearing the stuffs in the store room when i found my old Subbuteo set..its rather popular with the boys back in the days and i remember laying out the the 1 metre pitch with the players, goal posts and line-flags and admiring it proudly..the bigger sets even come with a scoreboard, spectators and more! anyone still got them? i think its nice collecting the player set from different leagues and countries..any sources?

anyways kind mr rafi and gang came to fetch with me with their bikes to pasir ris where we met mok and zul..lily, imran & freaky-z joined us later at pasir ris park..we totally forgot abt the whole mars thingy once we saw the playground..the guys were totally bonker over whats in store for them; the monkey bars, slides, disc-shaped mary-go-round and flying foxes..god i havent had tht kind of fun for quite sometime and it brought the every kid in me..we all ended up sweaty, bruised, sandy and dizzy and settled for chit-chats and card games

thnx to the people i had fun with..we should do this playground thing more often
